Equity Policies Toolkit for School Boards

A new toolkit is available from Race Forward, titled Equity Policies Toolkit for School Boards (access it here!). I am so excited to see this toolkit spur powerful school district organizing across our country that will advance honest, equitable, and fully funded education. You'll see my name in the acknowledgements as I co-led the drafting process and co-wrote the messaging portion.

There was also an event to release the toolkit called Global Thinking, Local Approach: Policy Making for Equity - an exciting and thought-provoking discussion among key leaders - you can check out the recording here. Race Forward is asking that folks who want to see equity in school board policies help spread the word to benefit those seeking to not only protect our schools from anti-public education attacks and to move our public education system towards its promise as the provider of a level playing field across all races, classes. and genders.
